Midtown
Carnivores and
Seemore Carnivorous Gardens
Embark On Collaboration
Midtown
Carnivores is pleased to announce the start of a new
collaborative effort with our friends and colleagues at Long Island
carnivorous plant nursery
Seemore Carnivorous Gardens!
The intent of this effort is to both increase the
range of plants offered to the Midtown
Carnivores customer base and for
Seemore Carnivorous Gardens to expand from its Long Island
clientele into the NYC market. Both companies subscribe to the
notion that collaboration and education, rather than competition and
exclusivity, can be strong motivating factors for mutual success.
Standing Inventory from Seemore Gardens
First, we will begin carrying
certain Seemore plants
in-stock and available for immediate delivery. The
prices for these plants will be exactly the same price charged on
the Seemore Carnivorous Gardens website, with no additional
markup, and no additional fees for delivery. In essence,
these plants are originally cultivated by Seemore and maintained by
Midtown Carnivores as part of their standing inventory. These
specific plants will be indicated on our website by the Seemore
Carnivorous Gardens logo. For our first round of standing inventory,
please see the relevant plant listings in the
Sarracenia
page.
Pre-Orders of Seemore Gardens' Available Catalog
We will also be providing a
Pre-Order service for our
customers. As we will making nearly monthly visits to Seemore
Carnivorous Gardens, our customers are welcome to request
that available plants from their nursery be picked up and held
for them for delivery via our free courier delivery service,
at the exact prices charged by Seemore Carnivorous Gardens. There is
no obligation to buy, no penalties for changing one's mind,
and no additional markup. As with all Midtown Carnivores
orders, free courier delivery will apply to these plants as well.
For more information, please see our new
Pre-Orders page.
We are very excited by this collaboration, and hope that it will
prove prosperous to both of our establishments and our clientele!
