The
Ordering Process
|

Our ordering process is designed to be as simple as
possible. Our ordering process can be broken down to five steps.
- CHOOSE YOUR ITEMS
- SCHEDULE DELIVERY
- PLACE YOUR ORDER
- RECEIVE DELIVERY
- AFTER DELIVERY
1. Choose Your Items |
We invite you to peruse our site and choose
from our selection of carnivorous plants, supplies and gifts.
Pick out the plants
you're interested in, and then call us or email us (our contact
info is at the bottom of every page), and we'll prepare a draft
invoice and a
PayPal request. Please note
that we return voicemails on the same day (typically weekdays
after 5PM, weekends all day), and emails as well (typically
weekdays after 7PM, weekends throughout the day.) |

2. Schedule Delivery |
Bayonne NJ - We can do deliveries in front of
the Amazon Warehouse (W. 4th St. @ Ave A) in Bayonne, by
appointment. Our delivery windows to Bayonne are between 5:30PM
and 8:00PM on weeknights, or any requested time (if available)
on Sundays.
Secaucus NJ - We can do
deliveries at the bus stop at County Ave @ Dorigo Lane (in front
of the Hudson County Juvenile Detention Center) in
Secaucus, by appointment. Our delivery windows to Secaucus are
between 12:30PM and 1:00PM on weekdays, or between 4:30 and
5:30PM on weeknights.
Manhattan NYC -
We are offering very limited deliveries to Manhattan by
appointment. Please see the front page of the website for
upcoming delivery windows to Manhattan.
Brooklyn
NY - We can also do deliveries that coincide with our
periodic free workshops in Brooklyn. Please see our
Education
page for upcoming Brooklyn events.
Deliveries outside of those times/locations may be requested for an
additional fee. Once the delivery details are worked out, we'll email
you the draft invoice and the payment request.
(USPS Postal shipping is also an
available option, by request.)

3. Place Your Order |
After you've
received your invoice and payment request,
you can use
PayPal to pay for your purchases using a credit
card. Midtown Carnivores will not have any access to your credit
card information, and if you have a
PayPal account, your
purchase will be fully protected. |

4. Receive Delivery |
If you are unable to
find us
at the pickup location, please contact us at 347-GO-4-VFTs
(347-464-8387); likewise, if we are unable to locate you at the
pickup location within 20 minutes of the pickup time, we will
attempt to contact you by phone.
Plants will be shipped via USPS, with tracking
number provided upon dispatch. |

5. After Delivery |
All plants are
already potted when delivered. Care sheets for your ordered
plants will be provided with your order at pickup. Our live
plants are easy to grow and maintain, if the care sheet
directions are followed. Please contact us by phone or email
with any problems. If you are a first-time purchaser and you are
having difficulty with a beginner plant, we may refund or replace
it once within seven days of purchase. See our
